Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you order a custom build from [Arcade86].

This is a template — review and customize before publishing.

1. About These Terms

These terms apply to all quotes, orders and custom builds supplied by [Arcade86] ("we", "us"). By paying a deposit or confirming an order, you agree to these terms. If anything is unclear, just ask — we'd rather explain than argue.

2. Quotes

All quotes are provided in writing and are valid for [30] days. Quotes are based on the specification discussed at the time; changes to the specification may change the price, and we'll always confirm any change with you before proceeding.

3. Lead Times

Every machine is built to order by one person, so lead times are estimates, typically [X–Y weeks] from deposit and confirmed specification. We'll keep you updated with progress and let you know promptly if anything affects the schedule. Lead times are given in good faith but are not guaranteed delivery dates.

4. Custom Nature of the Work

Each build is a one-off, handmade item. Minor variations in finish, materials and handmade details are part of the nature of custom work and are not defects. You will have the opportunity to approve artwork proofs and key specifications before they are finalised; approved choices cannot be treated as faults afterwards.

5. Payment Terms

  • A deposit of [X%] secures your build slot and covers initial materials.
  • The balance is due on completion, before delivery or collection.
  • We accept [bank transfer / payment methods]. We do not store card details.
  • Title to the machine passes to you on receipt of full payment.

6. Delivery

Delivery is available within [Your City/Region and surrounding area]; a delivery quote will be provided with your build quote. You are also welcome to collect. Risk of damage passes to you on delivery or collection — please inspect your machine on arrival and report any transport damage within [48] hours.

7. Warranty of Workmanship

We warrant our workmanship — joinery, wiring, assembly and finish — for [12] months from delivery. If a fault in our workmanship appears, we will repair it at no cost to you. This warranty does not cover wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage, third-party components covered by their own manufacturers' warranties, or modifications made by others.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a build is limited to the price you paid for that build. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, or affects your statutory rights.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country/State/Region], and any disputes will be subject to the courts of [Your Jurisdiction].
