Refund Policy

How deposits and refunds work for custom, made-to-order builds.

This is a template — review and customize before publishing.

Custom, Made-to-Order Work

Every machine from [Arcade86] is built to order, to your specification. Because materials are purchased and work begins specifically for your build, our refund terms differ from those for off-the-shelf products. This policy explains how that works, in plain language.

Deposits

  • A deposit of [X%] is required to reserve your build slot and begin ordering materials.
  • Deposits are refundable in full if you cancel before work on your build has started (see our Cancellation Policy).
  • Once work has started or custom materials (artwork, cut panels, ordered parts) have been committed, the deposit becomes non-refundable, because those costs cannot be recovered.

When Refunds Apply

  • If we are unable to complete your build for any reason, you will receive a full refund of everything you have paid, including the deposit.
  • If your machine arrives with a fault in our workmanship, we will first offer to repair it. If a repair isn't possible, we will offer a replacement or a refund.
  • If a refund is agreed, it will be paid to your original payment method within [14] days of agreement.

Exceptions for Custom Work

Because each machine is made to your specification, we cannot offer change-of-mind refunds on completed custom builds. This includes choices you approved during the build, such as artwork, colours, dimensions and game lists. Please review and approve all designs and specifications carefully — we'll always show you proofs and details before they're final.

How to Request a Refund
